RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

 

All individuals must completely fill out and sign this liability agreement prior to entering the ranch.

 

The undersigned hunter/guest has requested permission to enter the San Saba Ranch located in San Saba, Texas for the following purpose.

 

Archery Only Hog Hunting

(hog pasture only)

All other species hunted must be agreed to in writing by the owner.

The Ranch owners, Richard and Joy Smith, have given permission to ________________________________________ (name of hunter/guest) to enter the Ranch premises for the express purpose stated above.

 

THEREFORE, in order to secure the Owner’s permission to enter the Ranch, I acknowledge and accept the dangers, risks and hazards of a hunting lease.

 

  1. I realize there are natural and man made hazards on the Ranch, and I assume all risks in connection with such hazards. This document serves to warn me that dangerous conditions such as (but not limited to): poisonous snakes, insects, spiders, sinkholes, blinds, and elevated stands do exist. Feral hogs, especially injured, can be dangerous. I further agree and understand that the Owner assumes no liability for my safety and property.
  2. I further agree to release the Owner and his family harmless from any liability or claim from injury or damages to me and/or my property during my stay on the Ranch.
  3. I hereby further understand and agree to abide by all State laws and the Ranch rules set by the Owner as well as the provisions and terms of this Hunting Lease Agreement.

 

I HAVE READ THE ABOVE FORM COMPLETELY AND UNDERSTAND IT IS A RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND LIABILITY. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT I (INCLUDING MINORS IN MY CARE) ASSUME ALL RISKS ENCOUNTERED IN ACTIVITIES ON THE RANCH.
