Who we are:
I am Richard Smith. My wife Joy and I are
retired and live on the ranch. It is located 6
miles from the court house in San Saba,
TX. We are offering archery only hog
hunts. We are looking for responsible,
safe and careful hunters that will take care
of our ranch as we do. ABC stands for
Always Be Careful and we hope that
hunters will always remember safety first
while on our ranch.
We are city folks who have been blessed
in many ways and have found our way to
San Saba County. I was born and raised in
Austin, Texas. It has been our dream to
retire in the Texas hill country. We would
like to share our dream with our bow
hunting friends by offering an affordable
hunting experience. One thing for sure, it is
always exciting to have folks come out and
visit. Let me welcome you in advance to

Accommodations:
Comfortable lodging furnished-
Can accommodate up to 10 people!!
Larger camphouse - 2 bedrooms, 2 full
baths, living area, and kitchen. A/C and
heat. Kitchen has refrigerator, microwave,
coffee pot, filters, basic dishes, pots, and
pans. Covered porch has a cooking area
and sink. Can accommodate up to 7
people.
Smaller camphouse - 1 bedroom, 1 full
bath, & kitchen. A/C and heat. Kitchen has
refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and
filters, and basic dishes, pots and
pans.Can accommodate smaller groups
(3-4 people).
*** Must have 7 or more hunters to reserve
exclusive rights to hog pasture which
includes both camphouses for your hunting
party.
What to bring:
Sleeping bags to put on beds
Towels
Plenty of ice chests (for meat) and extra ice
Extra corn would be smart
Flash lights and LED Spot lights
Food, drinks, charcoal for grill
Insect repellent
What NOT to bring:
4 wheelers
